You may now login to the HCC Student System to obtain your offical HCC Library Barcode #. You may use the form below, or the signin on the HCC District Page. Once you have signed in, navigate to the Personal Information section of the page, and then select Demographic Data. The HCC Library Barcode # is located on the third line, underneath your student ID number.

You may use your official HCC Library Barcode # to log in to HCC Library databases, to log in to your HCC Library account, to place hold requests on materials you wish to check-out from the library, to renew items online, and to rate materials in the library catalog. If you wish to check materials out of the library, you will need to obtain a picture student ID card, which will have this barcode # printed on the back. If you are unable to get a picture ID right away, the library may issue a temporary library card which will have a different barcode # than the one on your HCC student account. You may use either number until September, 2009, when the student ID card will be required.

If you already have a temporary library card, the barcode number on your HCC student account may or may not match the one on your card. If it does not, you may use either number until September, 2009, when the student ID card will be required.

The Library Barcode # listed on your student account is your official, permanent number and will be yours throughout your HCC career.

Faculty and staff may contact any HCC library to obtain a library card with a barcode #. We are hopeful that permanent library barcode numbers will be available through At Your Service by September, 2009. Every effort will be made to transfer existing library barcode numbers to At Your Service.
