Children's Advocacy Centers of Texas (CACTX) has served as the membership association for the state's 70 local children's advocacy centers (CACs), ensuring access to safety, justice, and healing for nearly one million Texas children impacted by abuse.

CACTX is casting our vision upstream: to build a future where all children are free from child sexual abuse. Through collaborative partnerships and visionary, evidence-based prevention, awareness, and education strategies, we are working to stop child sexual abuse before it starts.

The Texas Early Learning Council is an advisory council established by Governor Rick Perry in late 2009. In 2010, the Council was awarded a three-year grant from the federal government to achieve a series of goals towards improving school readiness in Texas through targeted strategies stemming from the Council's four priority areas:
