3D Printing

The HCC Spring Branch Campus Library houses Ultimaker printers available for use. 

Consultation and Approval Process
Students must schedule an appointment with a library staff member to discuss their 3D printing project.

• A staff member will preview the file and evaluate the object, resources, and estimated completion time.
• File formats and preparation will also be discussed.
• Students will receive some assistance with the printing process.

Eligibility and Printing Guidelines

• The printer is available during library hours.
• All printing jobs must be completed prior to the library’s closing.
• Students are not required to stay in the library during the printing process.
