Free/Sliding Scale Clinic Locations

Free community clinics in Houston and Harris County.

A number of clinics operate across Houston and Harris County and offer free or low cost health care to the low income and uninsured. Some patients, if their income supports it, may need to pay a small fee or portion of their medical bills. The clinics offer qualified individuals a number of medical, dental, and overall health care assistance programs and services.

Each of the Houston area clinics provides health and dental care for individuals of all ages and incomes, regardless of their background. Each center can offer laboratory, medications and access to a pharmacy, dental care and a number of other free or low cost health care services. If a clinic can’t meet your needs they may be able to refer the patient to other Harris County or state of Texas specialists or hospitals. Any bills and fees that patients may be required to pay are based on their ability to pay for their bills, so the lowest income and uninsured in Houston and Harris County may get medical care at no cost from the community clinics and dental centers. In addition, referrals to state of Texas and federal government care may be provided too.
