FAQs

A librarian is always ready to help you with research help. You can either visit the library for a research consultation in person or start a live chat by clicking the "Ask Us!" button.

As an HCC student, you can receive free tutoring help for English, Math, and Writing. For more information, find the "Tutoring" tab under the Academic Services page.

You can buy or rent any materials required for a class through the bookstore. You may also check the library to see if they have a copy of the book you can checkout for free for a limited period of time.

Yes, we do! Please contact the Counseling & Ability Services department (found under the Support Services page) for more information.

You can checkout laptops and Chromebooks that have LockDown Browser from the library. Please call the circulation desk for any library to check availability of these devices.

You can contact the Enrollment Services (found under the Support Services page) for transcripts and enrollment verification information.

To find information about work study jobs and to determine your eligibility, contact the financial aid office (found under the Support Services page).

Academic advisors can help you determine your academic goals for graduation and transferring. Find an advisor from your campus by visiting the "Advising" tab under the Support Services page.

HCC provides professional personal and mental health counseling, career counseling, academic skills enhancement, outreach programming, consultation, and crisis intervention. Visit the "Counseling & Ability Services" tab under the Support Services page to find a counselor on your campus.
