The Sterile Processing Technician is a vital member of the healthcare team contributing to the delivery of safe patient care by ensuring that all instruments and equipment are ready for patient use. Most often the technician works in a centralized department at a medical institution.
This program provides individuals with education in Sterile Processing using the guidelines established by the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD). The program is comprised of both hands-on skills in a simulation lab, hospital clinical, and online virtual education.
