Anthropology is the study of humans, and Physical Anthropology will focus specifically on our biological components. Physical anthropology is influenced by a number of disciplines including: biology, environmental studies, anatomy, geology, nutrition, zoology, and cultural studies. How do our genetics work? How do we compare to other primates? Where and when did certain traits evolve? What makes humans different from other related species that have lived throughout history? If you want the answers to these questions and more, than you are in the right course! Humans are an awesome and fascinating species with a great history. And to live oblivious to our complexity and history would be sad indeed, so I want to teach everyone so they can all appreciate it as I do.
