SRHM produces a number of open-access, peer-reviewed journal issues every year including two themed issues, usually published in May and November, and one open issue which accepts papers year round. In addition to these three issues, SRHM also regularly produces supplements and special issues. The SRHM journal publishes research, in-depth analysis and critical reviews across the spectrum of SRHR, generating knowledge and evidence and inspiring new thinking and action. We work with partners to translate articles and publish editions of the journal in seven languages including Arabic, Chinese, French, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish and encourage submissions from a wide range of regions and perspectives.

Transgender Health is a timely international journal that focuses on the publication of peer-reviewed articles dedicated to better understanding the healthcare needs of transgender people throughout their lifespan.

[ON-CAMPUS URL] Women, Gender, and Families of Color is a multidisciplinary journal that centers on the study of Black, Latina, Indigenous, and Asian American women, gender, and families since 2013. Within this framework, the journal encourages theoretical and empirical research from history, the social and behavioral sciences, and humanities including comparative and transnational research, and analyses of domestic social, political, economic, and cultural policies and practices within the United States.

With a broad, humanistic understanding of American culture, the journal encourages cross-disciplinary work. In addition, it publishes forums, exhibition and book reviews, and short, timely think pieces. American Quarterly is the official publication of the American Studies Association (ASA).

Founded in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1969 by Robert Chrisman and Nathan Hare, THE BLACK SCHOLAR (TBS) is the first journal of Black studies and research. TBS is the first modern Black studies and research journal and is currently the leading such journal in the United States. Founded on the premise that Black writers, scholars, activists and artists could participate in dialogue within its pages, TBS‘s primary mission has been to chronicle, analyze, and debate the conditions and the emancipatory efforts of Black people, across class, nationality, gender, generation, sexuality, and ideology.

[12-month Embargo] Latino Studies has been published since 2003. It has swiftly established itself as a leading, international peer-reviewed journal. Not only has Latino Studies received awards and accolades, but also the active support of the scholarly community.

[ON-CAMPUS URL] Mexican Studies / Estudios Mexicanos is a bilingual, international scholarly journal dedicated to providing a unique and essential forum for the dissemination of cutting-edge research relating to Mexico, broadly defined. Analyzing cultural, historical, political, social, economic, artistic, and scientific factors, and engaging a range of disciplinary frameworks, fields and approaches, articles contribute to understanding and knowledge of contemporary and historical issues. The breadth and multiplicity enables scholars from many disciplines to collaboratively address critical concerns. MS / EM carries scholarly articles, review essays, and book reviews, written in either English or Spanish.

[ON-CAMPUS URL] As the journal of the Native American and Indigenous Studies Association, Native American and Indigenous Studies (NAIS) is based in North America but seeks to bridge the distances across the Indigenous world. The editors of NAIS are committed to creating a dynamic intellectual space for the communication and dissemination of excellent scholarship related to Indigenous Studies.
