Digital Stories: Home

What is Digital Storytelling?

A digital story is a multi-media production that makes use of photography, video, animation, sound, music, text, and a narrative element. As a whole, it is more impactful than it's individual elements.

Why it matters.

Multimedia documentation of history presents a more robust account of a period of time, current or past. Digital stories help the audience perceive triumph and adversity using a medium that incorporates various types of communication method.

You will soon have the academic aptitude and technological savvy to contribute to the historical landscape of humanity.

"The past actually happened but history is only what someone wrote down."

A. Whitney Brown
