HCC Inventathon tackles global issue of water resiliency
To address the global issue of water resiliency, Houston Community College is enlisting the ideas of young minds at Inventathon@HCC.The event, also called the Youth and Student Water Resiliency Hackathon, engages high school, community college and four-year and graduate student teams to develop solutions for urban water issues.

Poppy the Robot comes to life as HCC builds its first robot
Poppy the Robot was constructed piece by piece on a 3D printer at the HCC West Loop Campus Digital and IT Innovation Lab by a team of students and faculty. The project represents collaboration between HCC’s Digital & Information Technology and Advanced Manufacturing centers of excellence.
