Colette Patterns - Apparel patterns for a wide range of sizes. Mostly womenswear and some menswear. This site includes articles about sewing techniques and creating a sustainable wardrobe. This site contains resources for textile design and the slow fashion movement.

IndieSew - Browse the creations of other sewists in this online community. They sell paper and pdf patterns from many different indie pattern-makers. You can learn from a collection of sewing tutorials that will help you master sewing techniques one garment at a time.

SewOverIt - This British pattern company offers a range of vintage-inspired patterns. They are well-connected on social media and host many sew-a-longs on YouTube that will help you master garment-sewing techniques.

Made Everyday - Sewing blog that includes easy project for beginners. Learn to make small gifts and simple, stylish clothing for everyone if your family. The creator of this blog also has a YouTube channel with many step-by-step tutorials.

Tilley and the Buttons - This sewing website provides a variety of patterns using knit fabrics. This British company includes fabric tips and sew-a-longs. The easy-to-follow instructions and video tutorials are beginner-friendly. 

By Hand London - This website offers a variety of beginner to advanced sewing patterns. It is also a great resource for tutorials from knife pleats to different types of seams. 

Grainline Studio - Hemlock Tee: This boxy, drop-shoulder t-shirt is stylish and easy to sew. This would be a great pattern for sewists of all ages for knit fabric. 

Sew Caroline - Kimono Jacket: This simple kimono jacket pattern is another beginner-friendly project. This piece also transitions well into different seasons for a layered look.

Colette - Sorbetto Sleeveless Shirt: This sleeveless shirt now includes a free extension pack with different sleeve and hem options. 

Deer and Doe - Plaintain Tee: This basic tee comes with different sleeve options. This pattern is free, but requires registration for download. This pattern is made for knit fabrics, such as jersey. 

Peppermint Mag - Multiple Patterns: This page offers a variety of free patterns including a jumpsuit, wide-leg pants, several dress styles, and a pencil skirt. This is a great resource for sewists who are looking to expand their skills and pattern collection. 

Peppermint Mag - Dog Toys: Make a unique gift with this pattern for soft dog toys.
