Database News and Issues Announcements!

Here are some steps that you can take to help solve some of the browser errors that you might encounter when accessing our databases:

  • Simply changing browsers can help. If you see an error in Chrome, try Firefox or Edge.
  • Try your browser's “incognito” or “private” mode.
  • Clear your browser's cache and cookies and try to access the resource again before filling out the form linked below. If you are unfamiliar with clearing your browser's cache and cookies, these instructions for your web browser may help: Chrome | Edge | Safari | Firefox
  •  If you see errors in a database from a particular vendor, try another of our larger databases from a different vendor. For example, if the EBSCO databases are showing errors, try our Gale or ProQuest resources.

If you are still experiencing issues, complete the Can't Login Form and we will respond as soon as we can.

*****Coming soon! The HCC Libraries will soon be switching our off-campus login method for our databases and other electronic resources to OpenAthens! You will notice that some of our database descriptions include an announcement and a new link that you can try. These include NewsBank, Mometrix, and Project Muse.
