Have you ever wanted to learn the basics
of chess? This workshop will go over the
basic of chess. Learn the rules and the
moves, and then practice with fellow
attendees.
June 10th @ 1pm
With the price of groceries going up, it
can be hard to eat healthy. In this
workshop, learn to grow your own
vegetables, whether in containers or a
raised bed.
July 15th @ 2pm
Collages take found objects, such as text
from a newspaper or pictures from a
magazine, and arrange them in exciting
ways to create new meanings. Zine are
smaller versions of magazines or books,
often self published, covering a wide
variety of topics. Practice the art of
collage and zine making and learn how
to share your creations at this workshop.
July 17th @ 1pm
Gonzalo Murillo from Harris Health
explores healthy eating practices.
July 31st, 1-3pm
Learn about what makes classic
computer graphics unique. Play classic
Atari, Nintendo, and Super Nintendo
video games.
