EBSCO provides links as shown below that include customer ID information (s9009160) that will direct the user to OpenAthens automatically. You will not need the OpenAthens prefix for new EBSCO links, but older links that do not include the customer ID information can use the OA prefix appended to them to reach OpenAthens.
To convert your old EBSCO links to work with OpenAthens, you would just run your older links through the OpenAthens Link Generator to apply the prefix and remove the older information that directed them to our previous login method.
