Gale provides links as shown below that include customer ID information (txshracd2512) that will direct the user to OpenAthens automatically. You will not need the OpenAthens prefix for new Gale links, but older links that do not include the customer ID information can use the OA prefix appended to them to reach OpenAthens.
To convert your old Gale links to work with OpenAthens, you would just run your older links through the OpenAthens Link Generator to apply the prefix and remove the older information from our previous login method.
Our location ID is txshracd2512.
There are two link formats:
{Gale_product_URL}?u={LocationID}
{Gale_product_URL}?userGroupName={LocationID}

To get new links to Gale resources, just click on "Get Link" as shown below and then copy the result. This link is ready to use wherever you need it.
