The Texas Partnership for Out of School Time (TXPOST) is a statewide intermediary whose mission is to convene, educate, and advocate to improve the quality and increase the availability of out of school time (OST) opportunities for Texas youth.

Childcare-related matters can and often do affect the daily routine of parents in the workplace. Finding a way to pay for childcare so that parents can keep their jobs or train for better jobs, is a constant challenge for many working families. Workforce Solutions provides childcare financial aid for parents who are working and/or going to school.

In response to the economic crisis facing our community, childcare providers, and families due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Harris County and Fort Bend County have provided the YMCA of Greater Houston funding to support residents with child care and virtual learning to help them get back to work in their communities.

The Child Development curricula are designed to provide academic background and practical work experience necessary for successful care and guidance of young children.
