Are you having trouble finding relevant books, articles or media with your keyword searches? Try searching by subject headings. It’s an effective way to find focused information on any topic.
Subject headings are standardized "tags" created by the Library of Congress that describe the content of an item. You can use these tags to find material on the same topic regardless of the words used in the material’s text.
Subject headings can be located by using a thesaurus created by the Library of Congress. To search using the online thesaurus, visit The Library Of Congress Linked Data Service.
