The library will be launching a new catalog on Thursday, November 20. From November 15 - 19, our current system for will be unavailable while we transition to the new system. Library services will remain available, but we do recommend holding on to any library items you need to return until after Thanksgiving break. The call number is the book’s address in a library. Follow these steps to find a book on the shelf:

  1. Find the library name and collection in the Location box.
  2. Click the location and collection link to learn where it is and how to contact the library staff for more information.
  3. Make sure that the item is available for checkout. The Status box should say "Check shelf".
  4. When you get to the correct HCC library, check signs on the bookshelves for call number locations.

Try it out. Place the call numbers on the books in the correct order, left to right.
