HCC’s Northline Library offers many services to support student success and faculty instruction.
Students (and employees) can request a research consultation appointment with Northline librarians for individualized research guidance, in-person or online. [Northline Library Research Consultation Request Webform] A minimum of 72-hours notice is recommended, when possible.
Faculty can place library orientation and instruction requests with Northline librarians for their classes. We can also provide library tours. Two weeks advance notice is recommended, when possible.
HCC Libraries provide access to over 275 research databases to assist with our patrons' research needs for class projects or assignments. Our librarians can help you narrow down your research topics, find resources in our databases, and correctly cite your sources.
