How to Cite AI Sources

According to the Chicago Manual of Style, students are required to give credit to ChatGPT and other AI tools whenever they include the text generated by it in their own work. This can be accomplished by acknowledging the AI tool in their text (e.g., “The following information about the restaurant marketing strategy is generated by ChatGPT”).

Bibliography:  Only cite in notes unless you have a publicly available link (such as one provided by ShareGPT). Please ask your instructor if you need to add it to the bibliography.
