This is a research support guide for students, staff and faculty in our Criminal Justice programs.

Criminal Justice Liaison Librarian: Support Services

Sessions typically run 60 minutes, but can run shorter, depending on your needs. Please indicate whether you prefer to meet in-person at Northline Campus Library or Online (Cisco Webex or MS Teams). Northeast College students wishing to meet at Acres Homes, Northeast (Codwell), or North Forest libraries may also place requests, but my availability may be limited due to essential library coverage, and may be referred to a library colleague.

Instruction and Orientation Needs
  • Instructors teaching online CRIJ or CJLE courses may place an Instruction Request with Raquel Donahue for research instruction, library orientation, a library tour, or an information literacy lecture using the following webform link: HCC Northline Library Instruction Request.
  • Instructors teaching Northline campus CRIJ or CJLE courses may place an Instruction Request with Raquel Donahue for an in-person session using the following webform link: HCC Northline Library Instruction Request. Northeast College instructors at AH, CW, and NF may also place requests, but my availability may be limited due to essential library coverage.
  • Instructors teaching in-person CRIJ or CJLE courses at non-Northeast College locations should place an Instruction Request with librarians at their campus library using the location-specific links from the following list HCC Library Locations List.

Instructors may contact me by email to make HCC Library Webinar recommendations and requests, library material requests, 1:1 research consultations, and appointment requests to discuss your library needs.

Scholarship Opportunity

HCC's Reading Culture is a cultural program, book discussion club, and scholarship competition rolled into one. It is organized by HCC faculty, librarians, and staff across the HCC System every Fall and Spring semester and the country of interest changes each time.
