Try Truncation

To see which character a database uses for truncation and wildcard you may refer to the help option or ask a librarian.

Another technique that can improve your search results is called truncation. Truncating a word means that you are able to search different forms of the same word at the same time.

Truncation requires the use of symbols, called wildcards, to replace word endings. The most commonly used symbols are asterisk, question mark, and dollar sign symbols:
